Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Purpose of the Store Manager / Assistant Manager:
To operate an efficient store with increasing sales and customers, happy staff, and increasing profits to CHOOKS fresh & tasty.
Responsibilities of the Store Manager / Assistant Manager:
The Store Manager / Assistant Manager is responsible for:
- The occupational health and safety of himself and his staff.
- Ensuring that Food safe and hygiene procedures are followed
- Ordering - to be carried out in sufficient quantity using the CHOOKS fresh & tasty preferred suppliers and specifications.
- Ensuring that products are prepared as per CHOOKS fresh & tasty's specifications in sufficient quantity and quality.
- The image of the store.
- Preparing and ensuring adherence to an efficient roster by all staff, minimizing on unnecessary costs.
- The maintenance of the store.
- Staff training of all staff (using the standard CHOOKS fresh & tasty check sheets). Customer service, suggestive selling, teamwork and courtesy to customers and fellow staff members must be of the highest quality.
- Security of the store.
- Ensuring that all staff wear clean, ironed, well maintained uniforms.
- Bookwork for the store, using the forms as supplied by CHOOKS fresh & tasty. This includes rostering of staff, payment of wages, payment of accounts, accurate cash handling, banking and the compliance with all legal requirements.
