CHOOKS fresh & tasty has a number of advantages over other franchise systems and it's something that sets us apart in the oft-crowded and seemingly cloned market of fast food operators.

• We sell fried and barbecued chicken which differentiates us from our competitors who generally specialise in one, or the other, but not both
• CHOOKS has a unique family-like internal culture of rewards and encouragement. Our 'Encouragement Centre' is a reflection of that as well as desire to remove the stigmas normally associated with business titles, which is why we have a "Chief Chook" and not a managing director
• CHOOKS usually open stores at centres in local neighbourhoods which enables us to keep overheads down compared to the occupancy costs most retailers pay in food courts and more high profile locations.
• Our Encouragement Centre is open 24/7 if you need help in any aspect of your business
• We strive to establish long-term relationships with our suppliers, provided they can meet our needs, whereas many of our competitors constantly chop and change suppliers. Those  relationships, and the mass of our franchise group, ensures we are able to obtain bulk discounts which is a benefit to our franchisees on an individual level

CHOOKS is a community-focused franchise group and most franchisees are highly involved in their local areas. We have created a special CHOOKS Supporters Card that gives local clubs, groups and associations in the vicinity of CHOOKS stores an opportunity to raise extra funds.

Clubs receive a CHOOKS Supporters Card and each time a purchase is made the amount is stamped onto the card. Once the card is full it is sent off to the Encouragement Centre and the club is given $4.50 for every $50 spent. Other loyalty programs run by our competitors often provide equipment for local clubs, or help raise money through specific events, but they lack a long-term loyalty program which gives local clubs the opportunity to continually raise money.
